Versailles & Paris Day 7

This morning we woke up at 7:15 and had a nutritious breakfast at 7:30 then headed to the center of Paris to meet our guide. Who decided to be completely honest to us about the French and their feelings towards Americans, "We actually don't like anybody, it's nothing personal." These may not be her exact words but something close to that.

Above is the Louvre.

We drove around Paris until around 11:00 and then it was time for the Versailles excursion!!!! When we arrived at Versailles we got head sets and our tour guide told us everything about the palace. She told us tons of stories about Marie Antoinette and her life as a queen, even the stories about her public pregnancy and her sons' tuberculosis caused their lives to end early.

In the Versailles gardens we decided to play around with the statues and Mandi did a Ninja kick against a mean looking guy with a stick.

Another thing about the gardens are they might be the biggest gardens in the entire WORLD... not only are there statues everywhere, but there is endless garden.

After Versailles we took the bus over to the Eiffel Tower to climb to the top!!!!!!!!! The top was beautiful and not windy, we went on the best day. All the lines were really short and the sky was clear.

After the Eiffel Tower we went on the Metro again to head to dinner, which was delicious!
